Active Boogey is an interactive dance game, where the player has the choice of 3 songs, on which they can make the dancer move.
This “dancer” is a video recording, which can be controlled by pressing the appropriate letter on the keyboard that is assigned to a certain move. The moves that can be selected are shown in a menu on the right of the screen. In total the player can select 19 moves to make the dancer do the selected action, like jump, or scream and many other funny actions.
Active Boogey is a fun game without any competitive objective; it’s simply a fun way to pass some time. Because the game comes with three complete songs, it remains funny for quite some time. However, after having played the three songs it is not as much fun playing them again.
Graphically the game is interesting because instead of regular animations, the game was made from actual video clips, which makes it look and feel much more realistic than similar games. Young players will especially enjoy playing around with Active Boogey, and will be occupied with it for quite a while.
